While Google searching for the 200 best universities in 2008, one site caught my attention. An article dated 7 July 2009, caught 13 of the world's top 20 universities misspelled university in their own website. Isn't it amazing? When I checked the universities' websites, I was disappointed that they had corrected it already. At least, my penchant for odd things was satiated again.
The Australian National University ranked 1st in Asia and 16th worldwide followed by the University of Tokyo (Asia: 2nd, World: 19th). My alma mater, Hokkaido University, ranked 174th worldwide. Sadly, none came from my native country.
