Thinking Out of the Box 31

What will make the next Philippine president?
What's with the politicians' fear about too much political advertisements of their opponents? Has there been proven association between LSS, length of advertisements and win-ability? It is the children who sing those popular jingles. But is it the kids who will be going to the voting precincts? Even Kris Aquino's son, baby James, was not spared. He declared his personal choice. See the clip below.

Let's get real. I find it an insult to one's intellect if infomercials were to be taken as a parameter for the next president. It only means that the electorate is not thinking and can easily be lured by motorcades, dancing, singing, and cheap political tricks.

Look back at the recent history and evaluate the profile of the Philippine presidents after Madam Cory. What do they have in common? From there--and if the Filipino mindset has not changed--you would be able to predict who the next chief will be. Yet, it is wise to vote who your conscience dictates.

  1. The Inquirer’s front page today [April 8th] headlines “Noy to Manny: Don’t exploit Baby James.”

Moreover, in an interview with ABS-CBN about the incident, Kris Aquino-Yap said, “Spare my son from Politics. Let him live a life of a 2-year old."

Look who’s calling the kettle black. Senator Aquino, YOU and your sister were the ones who dragged your nephew to appear in that awful commercial in which you performed a rap number. YOU and your sister were the ones who dragged your nephew in the dead of the night to appear on-stage in a political rally.

And now you dare say that Senator Villar is the one exploiting your nephew?!!

Senator Aquino, your skewed reasoning shows that you are, indeed, in the words of your commercial, “walang bahid walang duda” — that is, walang bahid ng katalinuhan at walang duda ang kamangmangan!!!

Kailangan ng bayan ang isang Pangulo na may kakayahan at malawak na karanasan.

The Presidency is NOT an “On-the-Job-Training” position!!!
