Top 200 Asian Universities for 2010

Below is a Table of the 200 best universities in Asia for 2010 according to the QS World University Rankings system. The ranking criteria consisted of:
  • Asian Academic Peer Review-30%
  • Papers per Faculty-15%
  • Citations per Paper-15%
  • Student Faculty Ratio-20%
  • Asian Employer Review-10%
  • International Faculty-2.5%
  • International Students-2.5%
  • Inbound Exchange Students-2.5%
  • Outbound Exchange Students-2.5%
As the Table below shows, the two top universities are in Hong Kong (University of Hong Kong and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology), followed by the National University of Singapore. Japan's University of Tokyo, a consistent top performer in the country, ranks fifth. My alma mater, Hokkaido University ranks 22nd.

In the Philippines, the top universities are Ateneo de Manila University (58th), University of the Philippines (78th), University of Santo Tomas (101st), and De La Salle University (106th). Click the link to look for your school
