Bullied Japanese teen jumps from 6F dead, called 119 to declare suicide

In Sapporo, Japan, the Yomiuri Shimbun reports of a 13-year-old girl who jumped from the balcony of her sixth-floor apartment on Monday that caused her immediate death.
She called up the emergency service 119 telling her intention to commit suicide.
The girl who resides in Chuo Ward identified herself to the emergency telephone operator and said that she is going to kill herself right now.
The name of the second-year Fushimi Middle School girl was withheld. She left 12 pieces of suicide notes on A-5 paper in the living room.
The girl said in the suicide notes that she was bullied last year and she hates making speeches in her Japanese language studies.
The police came after five minutes and found the girl in the parking lot. She was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Police and school authorities are investigating on the matter. The principal of the school held a press conference on Monday night.
The principal noted that there was no particular reference to bullying. The suicide notes said a number of second-year students had ignored the girl last year and verbally attacked her with words like "disgusting."
