A few days from now, the Maguindanao massacre will turn one year old. It happened on 23 November 2009.
About 58 people were killed during the ambush due to politics. As of yet, the orphaned and widowed relatives of the victims as well as the general public are waiting for justice, which is slow in the Philippines.
The country will not forget this horrendous crime. Justice should be served now.
