Watch the 2010 Nobel Prize Award Ceremonies Live Online



This year's Nobel Laureates will shine in Stockholm and Oslo on 10 December to receive their prestigious awards.
If you can't go to these cities, don't worry. You can watch the week-long ceremonies live online!
The Nobel Prize Organization will be streaming live webcasts of the events.
The Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony in Oslo, Norway will honor the imprisoned Chinese dissident, Liu Xiaobo.
The Nobel Prize Award Ceremony in Stockholm, Sweden will honor the Nobel Laureates in Chemistry, Economic Sciences, Literature, Physics, and Physiology or Medicine who will receive their Prize from His Majesty the King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.
The 2010 Nobel Laureates are:
Chemistry: Richard Heck (USA), Ei-Ichi Negishi (Japan) and Akira Suzuki (Japan)
Economic Sciences: Peter Diamond (USA), Dale Mortensen (USA) and Christopher Pissarides (Cyprus)
Literature: Mario Vargas Llosa (Peru)
Peace: Liu Xiaobo (China)
Physics: Andre Geim (Russia) and Konstantin Novoselov (Russia)
Physiology or Medicine: Robert Edwards (UK)

1:30 p.m.–3.00 p.m. (CET): Nobel Prize Symposium in honor of Robert G. Edwards.

5:30 p.m. (CET): Nobel Lecture in Literature by Mario Vargas Llosa.

Wednesday, 8 December

9:00 a.m.–10:20 a.m. (CET): Nobel Lectures in Physics by Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov.

11:00 p.m.–12:50 p.m. (CET): Nobel Lectures in Chemistry by Richard F. Heck, Ei-ichi Negishi and Akira Suzuki.

2:00 p.m.–3:50 p.m. (CET): Prize Lectures in Economic Sciences by Peter A. Diamond, Dale T. Mortensen and Christopher A. Pissarides.

Nobel Prize Award Ceremonies

10 December


1:00 p.m. (CET): Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony, including readings of Liu Xiaobo’s texts at the Oslo City Hall, Norway.

4:30 p.m. (CET): Nobel Prize Award Ceremony at the Stockholm Concert Hall, Sweden, for the 2010 Nobel Laureates in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature and the Laureates in Economic Sciences.
