Filipino teacher stabbed to death in San Diego

A Filipino teacher in San Diego, California was slain on 18 December, according to a report from ABS CBN's Balitang America on 13 January.
Henry Acejo was stabbed to death in his apartment in Tijuana.
He has lived in the US for 15 years teaching English as a second language to adults in several colleges around San Diego.
Balitang America said that over a hundred people mourned in Acejo's memory in Mid City College where he worked for five years teaching English and computer courses.
Colleagues described the slain man as one of their best teachers. He worked in the US to send money to his family in the Philippines.
The school is contemplating on launching a memorial scholarship to honor Acejo.
"We’ve had a tough time dealing with his loss, and I feel this memorial, speaking about Henry, hearing all these words, have helped this process of healing start," said Steve Gwyne of Mid City College as Second Language program.
Friends and mourners grieved for his loss and are seeking justice. However, no elaborate details of his death were reported from the source.
Acejo's body was flown to the Philippines on Thursday morning. Memorial services will be held over the weekend in San Mateo, Rizal.
