Mom drives family to death in a Hudson River car crash

Newburgh City investigators are ruling out the possibility of suicide when an unidentified woman drove her car with four children into the Hudson River early Tuesday evening.
As a result of the fatal crash, the woman died and three of her kids: 11-month girl and two boys aged 2 and 5, HV Insider said.
A fourth child, aged 10, was able to escape, called for help and told the Newburgh Fire Department that his mom drove them to the river.
The police and fire personnel responded but it was too late.
The minivan was recovered close to the boat launch in Gull Harbor at Gully's with all the passengers inside.
No names were released pending the investigation.
