Bumperrr-to-bumperrr traffic in Metro Manila

A radio report said that heavy traffic remains along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) in connection with the transport strike that started on Monday.
It was mentioned that a record-breaking one-hour-no-movement traffic flow was observed today along EDSA.
Bus companies that joined the strike and those caught changing the license plates will face charges, said traffic authorities.
Public buses protested against the implementation of the number coding scheme that prohibit them to ply the streets on certain days depending on buses' plate numbers.
However, according to bus group officials, there were no strikes that occurred. They merely followed the scheme.
In the mean time, traffic authorities sent free bus rides to assist the riding public.
Passengers are trying to outdo each other to get in to public vehicles.
