Ex-PHL Prexy sells house to pay debts

After his unsuccessful attempt for re-election, debt-ridden former President Joseph "Erap" Estrada has decided to sell his posh house in Greenhills Village in San Juan, said Sen. Jinngoy Estrada on Thursday.
Estrada revealed that he would use the money from the sale of his 3,000-square meter Polk Street property for his real estate business.
The former president was unseated in 2001, and was jailed for six and a half years over corruption charges. He was succeeded by then President Gloria Arroyo.
The former actor and politician Estrada placed second to Noynoy Aquino in the presidential elections on 10 May.
