Filipinos insulted over Korean actress portrayal of English

This YouTube video shows Korean telenovela actress Lee Da Hae imitating the Filipino-English accent in a comedy show.
The young actress' portrayal caught the ire of many Filipinos. She apologized for her joke.
It is a known fact that there are many Koreans who come to the Philippines to study the English language.
On a personal note, I am not offended with Hae's imitation. It was fun to watch. It does not make a Filipino any less to have regional accent.
I don't think it was necessary for her to give an apology. Filipinos make more sarcastic jokes to people of other countries, too. The most recent is no less than the Philippine president's speech writer inappropriate tweets to Vietnam, is the case in point.
