Philippine VP shooed away by Clinton aide

MANILA, Philippines--Vice President Jejomar Binay was shouted at and shooed away by a female staff of former US President Bill Clinton.
The aide asked the VP to leave a VIP area where Clinton will be speaking in a forum called "Embracing Our Common Humanity" at the Manila Hotel.
Binay told the female staff that if she is ordering his group to leave the room, do not shout, and that he happens to be the Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines.
The aide promptly apologized when Binay obediently left the VIP room.
The Office of the Vice President plans to write a letter to the Clinton Foundation to seek clarification of the incident, according to a staff.
The aide said that she was not informed by the US Secret Service for Binay's attendance.
