A meteor hits Oklahoma

Residents of Oklahoma in the United States saw a big ball of fire across the sky tonight reported by todaysthv.com.
The ball of fire that emanated a greenish hue created a stir all over the state, which turned out to be a meteor according to the Sebastian County Sheriff's office. It likely hit near Poteau Mountain.
The Website asked astronomer Steven Meeks who said that it was likely a meteor that contains copper due to its greenish color.
He added that the size could be no larger than a pebble.
The meteor was also sighted in Greenwood, Jonesboro, Jackson and Biloxi, Miss., and the Florida Panhandle.
