Libya's strongman Col. Muammar Gaddafi is not only excessively rich, he also suffers from severe phobia according to US diplomatic cables released by WikiLeaks, in a report by Al Jazeera.
In this interesting YouTube video, Jacky Rowland tours us to one of Gaddafi's palaces on the outskirts of al-Baida, northern Libya, which is the third largest city in this North African state.
Like any other posh residences, the palace that is set in a beautiful landscape has swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi.
But wait, there’s more.
The eye-catcher of the spectacular residence is the bunker that can be used as a hiding place in case of a nuclear attack.
The underground shelter equipped with air filters, emergency generators, fire alarm, and water supply can accommodate the despot for several months.
It also has a ladder that may serve as an alternate emergency exit to help him escape.
Amazing!
