Earthquakes & Tsunami Report 2 from Sapporo Hokkaido, Japan

Note: The following report is authored by Northernlight from Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan who requested me to post on her behalf.
Morning of 12th
Morning is revealing devastated scenes from a helicopter shot at Fukushima Prefecture.
Not only tsunami, but also because of subsidence of the ground, the area is under water. The lowering of the ground is estimated by 60-70cm.
Rescue teams are arriving and pulling people up/out by helicopters, or by hands. A mother with her baby had hurried to evacuate but couldn’t reach the place and climbed up to a overpass nearby with several people. The tsunami rushed as closely as one meter below their feet, horrified seeing houses, cars gushing through.
Internet do not connect since yesterday afternoon up till now March 12 evening.
Every TV station broadcast news on earthquakes only. Internet connection, cable TV, Internet phone all disconnected (AU) even in Sapporo area. Mobile phone works sometimes, but not constant.
