Video of Ivorian women protesters gunned down in Abidjan



WARNING: The attached seven-minute long YouTube video shows the bloody ending of women protesters in the Abobo district of Abidjan being attacked by the armed supporters of incumbent president Laurent Gbagbo on Thursday. The soldiers opened fire at 3:40 video time killing at least six women.
In the mean time, the UN apologized to Belarus for the erroneous accusation that the former Soviet state delivered three helicopters to the world's biggest cocoa supplier on Monday, the CNN reported.
Head of the UN peacekeeping operations Alain Le Roy, said, "This (is a) troubling event and a mistaken report."
In another report, the world body is probing in to "the arrival of light weapons cargoes from Zimbabwe" made three months ago.
Four planes arrived from Angola, Cape Verde and Sao Tome and Principe at San Pedro airport, in the southern part of Ivory Coast on 17-21 December, according to the AFP.
A suspicious delivery of 10 large wooden crates that may possibly contain tanks and trucks is also being probed at the Abidjan port but no authorities were immediately available to comment of the issue.
The three-month long political rivalry between Gbagbo and Alassane Ouattara has resulted in 365 deaths according to the UN.
